Like a Love Song by Gabriela Martins – a Latina popstar facing drama after a public breakup, leading her to fake date William in order to restore her image. Expecting a hard attitude bad boy, she gets a soft sweet British movie star. I love fake dating I think it’s interesting to see the characters go from somewhat hating each other to relying on one another to uphold this image and then seeing things develop into a solid relationship its *chef’s kiss* Goodreads

Kiss and Repeat by Heather Truett – a kissing experiment gone off course when he starts falling for one of the girls involved in the experiment, but she doesn’t actually know that said experiment exists. I think the cover is amazing, and I sense that we may have some good conflict around them due to the experiment. Also I think it’ll be interesting to see the switch from analytic and treating women like numbers to actually falling for her and then…possibly getting his heart broken? I also may or may not have requested this one on Netgalley a few days ago, fingers crossed I get it! Goodreads

Sister of the Bollywood Bride by Nandini Bajpai – Mini is left to plan her older sister’s entire wedding, aloe of course. Her mom passed away a few year ago, her Dad is handling a new start up and her older sister is in the middle of med school. So now Mini has 2 months to plan a full desi wedding, but here’s the thing, her Dad taught her more about computers, systems, calculus, than planning a desi wedding. Add a few distractions that could cause for this wedding to go off the rails. Goodreads

Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar – FAKE DATING ALERT Hani comes out to her friends as bi, but her friends invalidate her for only dating boys. In the panic she says that she’s dating Ishu, who so happens to be the head girl who her friends despise. But now people will try to separate them, doing everything in their power to break the pair up. Goodreads

It Goes Like This Miel Moreland – 4 queer teens come together to create a band, but after some time their paths separate, some go farther into the spotlight others continue writing songs. But it’s not until a storm hits their hometown that makes them come together to preform one more time and find out whether they’ve officially grown apart. Tell me that doesn’t sound like the most heart warming story, I can already tell this one is going to destroy me 🙂 Goodreads

Witches Steeped in Gold by Ciannon Smart – two enemies form an alliance to take down a mutual enemy. Enemies coming together to take down something bigger is another amazing trope. Having to set aside their differences because for once something bigger than them is a threat to both. After all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend right? Goodreads

Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas – Peter Pan retelling!! Wendy’s brothers go missing in the woods, and five ears later multiple children start to do the same. In an attempt to runway from the past Wendy runs head first in the a mysterious town. Peter and Wendy team up to solve the mystery and stop so many children meeting similar fate. Goodreads
